How to Use RT75 Unique Compass Toy Walkie Talkie

RT75 is an unique walkie talkies with compass. The unique compass design stimulates children's interest in exploring nature. It is lightweight with bright color, popular with 6-12 years old kids.

1. How to install RT75?

There is a belt clip one back of RT75. So the first step is gently press the outwards at the snap to remove the belt clip.Then push down the battery cover and install 3 AAA batteries. The batteries are not included in the box, so you need to prepare them in advance. After installing the batteries correctly, please install the battery cover and the belt clip. 

2. How to make two RT75 communicate?

To communicate with each other, please set the same channel and CTCSS/DCS as the other radio. Press and hold PTT button with the radio about 5 cm away from your mouth when talking. Release PTT immediately at the end of your talk .

3. How to set functions of RT75?  

Switch Volume Levels:To increase the volume, press the Up button▲ to increase the volume and press the Down button▼to decrease the volume.

Change Channels: Short press the menu button one time to adjust the channel by the Up button ▲ and the Down button▼

Set CTCSS/DCS: Short press the menu button twice. This setting is to prevent others from hearing your child's conversations.

Turn on/off VOX: Short press the menu button 3 times. VOX stands for "voice activated transmission". It is usually used to turn on a transmitter or recorder when someone speaks and turn it off when they stop speaking. With this function, you can make the radio hand-free. The VOX of RT75 has 1-3 levels in total. The higher the level, the more sensitive.

Adjust Call Tones: Short press the menu button 4 times to adjust the call tones. RT75 has 10 different call tones.

Turn on/off Roger Beep: Short press the menu button 5 times to turn on or off the roger beep. Roger beep means a tone or tones added to the end of a talk to indicate that the operator has concluded speaking. If your partner's walkie talkie turn on the tail tone, you will receive the sound prompt.

Turn on/off Flashlight: There is a small lamp button under the display. Press this button to turn on the flashlight, and press it again to turn off.

Scan and Monitor: Press and hold the UP button▲ about 3 seconds to active scan mode. Press and hold the Down button▼ about 3 seconds to active monitor mode.

Tips:

1. Press menu button and hold for 3 seconds can lock the keypad. It is to avoid children accidentally changing the radio settings. To unlock the radio, press menu and hold for 3 seconds will work.

2. RT75 can be used with the earphone. The earphone connector is located on the top of the device, which is a 2.5mm jack.
