Change Channels: Short press the menu item one time to adjust the channel.

Set CTCSS/DCS: Short press the menu item 2 times. This setting is to prevent others from hearing your child's conversations.

Turn on/off VOX: Short press the menu item 3 times. VOX stands for "voice activated transmission". It is usually used to turn on a transmitter or recorder when someone speaks and turn it off when they stop speaking. With this function, you can make the radio hand-free. The VOX of RT388 has 1-3 levels in total. The higher the level, the more sensitive.

Adjust Call Tones: Short press the menu item 4 times to adjust the call tones. RT388 has 10 different call tones.
